about kia
Kids In Action opened its doors in 1995. Our mission is to provide a center which provides evaluations and therapy to infants and children working as a team with their families, schools and the community. Kids In Action's affiliated occupational, physical, speech-language therapists as well as special educators, psychologists, and counselors bring extensive experience to the practice.
Kids In Action's alternative programs include: parent-child groups, sensory-motor camps, pediatric yoga, infant massage, and auditory integration therapy (central auditory processing disorder). We are accepting new children to the programs throughout the year.
Our newest program is a dynamic enhanced playgroup for children (ages 1.5 to 3.5 years of age) which includes their parent, grandparents, or caregiver. Enrollment is now open.
In addition to our alternative programs we conduct parent/caregiver workshops, as well as workshops and continuing education for professionals.
