Long Island's best in alternative pediatric development

Page 1

Jimmy has made significant progress in the three months since AIT (Auditory Integration Therapy). Jimmy had stopped saying Daddy and had never said his sister's name. Jimmy communicated his needs through a few phrases and gestures. Progress was limited and inconsistent.

Within 8 days of AIT, Jimmy said his sister's name for the first time, as well as, Nanny and Papa who were here. Since that break through, sentences are emerging, object labeling, counting to 12, knows and says his colors and ABC's. He is also more social.

AIT combined with speech therapy was a winning combination for Jimmy.

KIDS IN ACTION is a wonderful center with warm and loving therapists. Not only has my daughter made amazing achievements in the time she has spent there but also it is her favorite place to visit. I also can't help but mention the staff is very supportive and goes out of their way to supply you with the most current information available for the purpose of decision-making. Decision-making can be difficult in itself when as a parent you are feeling pressure or stress.

Thanks to KIA for all their assistance & Support

My daughter has been coming to KIDS IN ACTION for the past six months, and she has made great strides. I am very pleased. The fact that she really looks forward to coming and participating has been a plus in her rehabilitation.

My daughter received AIT therapy at KIDS IN ACTION's office. This was a very convenient as I live in Islip. The therapy itself was a miracle. My daughter went from having tantrums due to auditory processing delays lasting up to 2 ½ hours down to the longest since AIT ½ hour. Her occurrences of tantrums have been cut in half. The best part is that she is proud of herself and how well she has been doing in school since completion of the therapy. Her teachers report an increase in story comprehension and acquisitions of new math concepts.
